Monday
Another week starts, another great start.
lets see... after iHCI lab , went to library to watch My Sister's Keeper with Emily ;D
she smuggled in a whole bag of snacks ;D thanks for them + butterscotch cookies!
Pretty refreshing watching it again, but the atmosphere isn't as great as in the cinema.
( thats why you never cry ! )
But it was pretty darn good either way, enjoyed myself :)
After that , went for DCNK lecture, quite HAPPENING. Met Hui Ting.
Right after DCNK is another 2 boring and insanely-long-and-boring hours of HOOP.
Thank god we got released at 5.30pm, but i was supposed to meet Emily at 6pm+.
Then at first Alex , Dolly and Glenn say want to eat dinner but in the end PANGSEH ME.
me : " k luh, you all go home lor, i just go library myself. "
"Shaun just trying to make us feel bad " -.- whatever lah.
So yeah, went over to the library to do some work while waiting.
Emily then surprised me ( yet again hahaha ) while i was doing work.
At first she was showing me what her mac can do =p , quite interesting luh , wish windows had those kinda functions. Garageband is pretty cool ;x
but after that we played icy tower and fish a fish , Emily becoming an icy tower addict , got special sound effects somemore, hahahaha. When we were leaving, we decided to have dinner at century square ;D
She brought me to some ulu ulu shop in century square basement, like really never see before.
But the food was reaaallyy awesome. Like REALLY awesome. Love the fried sotongs haha ;D
Then we got some deserts from emicakes(ya emily's cakes hahaha) at T1.
Strawberry cheesecake was <3

Last weekend was......pretty much literally spent as a zombie.
Saturday
had a EQ seminar from 9am - 5pm.
had to leave halfway from 11-2 to attend the Run For Hope Helper's briefing + collect our shirts ;D
Met up with Melly , Jon , Jing and Sean. Attending the briefing then went opposite school for lunch at KFC. Then just nice bump into my classmates who were at the seminar also , turns out they had a lunch break.
But anyways, the seminar is pretty interesting and useful.
That's if we actually put it to use.
slept from 6pm-9pm.
Slack and did some work till 12pm.
Jon and Jing came over to my house to ton the night till 4am, cause we had to go to east coast park by 5.30am.
So yeah , we took a cab , went to pick up Sean at Serangoon, then went to East Coast.
Cab fare was $37 LOL, but we'll get reimbursed. ( WE BETTER BE ! )

When we reached, i was like chui alr , super sleep deprived. @_@
We were assigned as road marshals in pairs so we had to make sure no one is stupid enough to stray away from a straight path.
Its pretty common sense that no one would actually go there( ITS A LINEAR PATH !) but nevertheless , we had to do our job.
All i did was talk to Jing and stone for about 5 hours.
After that, we regrouped with Jon,Sean,Melly and Nian qi.
We went over to Parkway for lunch @ MOS burger , went to walk around borders to look around and also try to find my Secret piano Score sheet book, but to no avail. Guess i do have to go Kino afterall.
Once i reached home at around 2pm, slept straight till 9pm.

Tuesday, November 17, 2009 .
urghh , another week of school.Thank god i had a great start.
Dad went to Beijing and took the cammy with him x_x , no pictures for a week or so.
Monday ~
went to find Emily at the library for lunch , at the same time pick up my reserved book ;x
saw Wei Min and Nian qi , talked for a while before heading over to itas for lunch ;D
Emily like only went itas like once or twice so she like blur one ;x
after walking around , she ended up eating the seafood soup thing.
First thing i noticed when i saw it was the ingredients like very little !
but she said its probably cause the bowl very big , make it look like very little. Quite true !
After eating we just sat down and chatted for another hour or so until we had to go off for classes.
I had DCNK lecture but decided against going for it.
Went into a lab to find Dolly and Glenn who also skipped the lecture.
Jing wanted to come crash my lecture but in the end also come our lab play.
Played a little , rested a little , then it was HOOP.
Unlike previous weeks , our tutor let us do our assignment in class instead of teaching.
I prefer these kinda lessons , don't need waste time .

Tuesday ~
Sat in on IHCI lecture , didn't catch any balls.
Went to sit with Gwen's class during DCNK lecture and went to DESIGN canteen for western food !
I wanted to try the dory fish at first , but i ordered two ( one for me , one fore maggie ) then the auntie say left one , so i let her have it and ordered chicken cutlet with nachos cream and mushroom sauce instead.
After that , went for CMATHS lecture with Gwen's class again. ( my class only 4 people turn up LOL)
Then i learned of alot of scandals wor ;x

Anyways, during HOOP , i got stuck on my assignment , some stupid method that wants me to remove an object from an ArrayList while traversing it. Kept giving me problems because it sort of skips every alternate object.
I ask my hoop tutor he also cant help me x_x
End up after like 1 hour i managed to find the problem and solve it.
Apparently every time the program removes an object , the next object's index changes to the previous object's. Hence skipping over that object.
Did a reverse traverse instead to remove the objects, as well as a static variable to determine if the object should be removed or not.
Waste of my one hour , but the satisfaction from solving it is superb.
( yeah i know this chuck of text doesn't make much sense if you didn't learn java ;x , sorry eh ! )
piano lesson was greatt
my piano lesson lasted 1 hour , after that i spent another 40 mins practicing my own pieces ;D
love the satisfaction cause everytime i practice ,
i'm like one step closer to completing the piece ,
despite progress being slow ( like one bar only , even after practicing for an hour) ,
but still , every small step counts.
I'll feel so motivated when i can play even just a little bit more smoothly.
Also getting motivation from Emily to practice my pieces , thanks :)

SATURDAY ~
TPSU SENTOSA OUTING!
uhh woke up late today!
Supposed to wake up at 11am cause i had to leave my house at 12am ,
set my alarm at 11pm so it didn't ring.
Thank god Dolly was spam calling my phone and the vibrations woke me up... at 12!
So i was about half an hour late , but me and Dolly managed to eat Subway before meeting Nian qi.
We bought mineral water and 100 plus from giant , went to breadtalk to get some buns in case we get hungry =)
So we arrived at Sentosa at about 2pm + , found everyone at palawan beach =].
At first we sat down , played dai dee for a while , while everyone else was playing touch rugby .
I lost 3 games and had to soak myself in the water.
After that , we buried Raymond and Luffy in the sand =D
beautiful scenery isn't it , beautiful weather too =D

next up ! luffy's turn ! we also made a wall around his head , like some toilet bowl shape like that
hahahaha.
we gave him a spoon to dig his way out ! hahaha
wet clothes + sand = sand sticking on your clothes , so i had to dip into the water to get them off.

FOOOOD, most of us da bao-ed from Subway and KFC cause the food court food really expensive. But we still got to eat as one big family ;D
Was trying out different functions of my cammy , mostly stuff like Auto , Night portrait mode .
Found out normal mode + flash takes really really bright and ugly photos at night.
Auto mode and night portrait takes pretty nice shots .
Everyone was squeezing on the train , trying to see which side can squeeze the most people .
In the end my side won ! With 12 people on one side. hahaha crazy people ! We were also making quite a huge commotion , quite noisy , lots of people staring at us =x

FRIDAY ~
CCN DAY + PROGRAM MEETING =)
alrightt , friday was CCN DAY , Campus-Care network day , where we all set-up booths to raise funds for something(Apparently its for the needy students of TP , Emily say one !).
But anyways, started by helping my class with setting up the booth , carrying tables around and decorations .
When the actual event started , I went with Dolly and Glenn around the whole school to " publicize our booth " and explore ;D Was quite fun , spent quite some money on food and drinks >_>. Also spent $8 on TP badges for some friends =D
Our proposed game ;x , people are supposed to drop marbles to win prizes or something.

Supposed to throw a ball at a spot , if you hit , the person gets dunked into the water .

After that , I went to help at the TPSU booth from 3-5pm.
Went around selling badges ;D
Quite fun + got to interact with other SU subcomms =)
Had debrief until 6 + , went to meet Emily @ design school , bought a ice lemon tea on the way there , LOVE their ice lemon tea. HAHA

So we went to the lounge , played pool ;D surprisingly i won , didn't expect it leh ! Must be pure luck =p. So now Emily owes me lunch ;x
then we went back to lounge for.....PROGRAMMER MEETING ;D

First off , theres about 30+ programmers , 10 of us from rinku .
We started off by introducing ourselves , getting to know each other , then we went on to the main agenda. Got to know the theme of the upcoming FO.
We got our groupings and have to meet up to plan station games ;D Gonna be quite busy from here on out , until the actually FOC itself =)

Met Alex for iHCi proj @ Century Square , had pepper lunch for lunch .
Went to find my parents at TM after that ,
bought myself a pair of jeans and nose clips for swimming ;D
Just realised that my ear plugs went missing >_> .
But anyways , finally got hold of a copy of Paramore's Brand New Eyes ;)
Ohh and my dad bought a camera , Olympus uTough , to replace my broken cammy x_x.
Didn't have much say in it, but new camera, oh wells.
He chose that camera cause it's supposedly anti-freeze ( for use in the snow ) and anti-shock ( protection against my sisters who drop everything ).
Went to try Famous Amos's butterscotch cookies , delicious ;D (recommended by emily)
Watched Secret on channel U , 3rd or 4th time watching it , such a beautiful show .
Went browsing through old photos , thank god i always try to get the photos from everyone .

I miss all that .
